Maintenance Manager

We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Maintenance Manager for our client who is a global, multi-industry leader in the manufacturing and sale of high-performance cement that complies with local standards which is for residential, commercial and industrial purpose. 

You will ensure the repair of mechanical installations requiring maintenance at the workshop and the manufacture of parts or materials requested by the maintenance team in compliance with safety instructions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan the curative and preventive mechanical work to be carried out at the workshop level;

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the maintenance teams taking into account the security aspect;

  • Supervise the preparation of spare parts or equipment where there is a shortage (a rod, an axis, a ring);

  • Respect work orders, installation plans and ranges specified by the Methods office;

  • Carry out the storage of mechanical parts as a preventive measure; Receive the work done by the subcontracting teams assigned to the workshop;

  • Supply the Workshop teams with spare parts necessary for the execution of their work;

  • Ensure the availability of machinery and tools of the workshop;

  • Ensure the cleanliness and storage of the workshop;

  • Control working conditions in terms of safety (Equipment and personnel);

  • Carry out daily, weekly and monthly maintenance reports for the hierarchy

  • Work on non-compliance relating to safety and environment and report to the hierarchy;

  • Ensure compliance with the waste treatment rules;

General

  • Perform all other allied tasks and functions assigned by the Head of Department.

  • Respect and enforce the Organization's Code of Conduct and the various management procedures.

  • Respect and enforce Organization's safety, health and environmental policy. Environment to the hierarchy

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bac +5 years, Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • You should be Proactive, Ability to learn quickly, Solution oriented and a Team player.

  • Maintenance protocols, Cement industry specific installations, OSHA, Health and safety guidelines.
