JD - Controlling Mg 09.22: Careers

Role Purpose

The role of the Controlling Manager is to prepare reports, ensure their follow-up, and analyze deviations. It provides management with the reports and analyzes necessary for decision-making, while respecting the set deadlines.

Reports to: Finance Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the preparation of annual and forecast budgets.

  • Determines and sets up a dashboard adapted to each level of responsibility, made up of financial and technical indicators.

  • Ensures monthly and annual reporting with indications on the main elements of the income statement and the main financial statements, respecting the set deadlines.

  • Ensures that a high level of information is maintained thanks to cost accounting developed with the Finance Director.

  • Develops and disseminates budgets, forecasts and provisional business plans, respecting the set deadlines.

  • Set up profitability studies (new investment, new product, etc.)

  • Performs performance benchmarks (internal, group level).

  • Participate in the evaluation of provisions with the Finance Director

  • Perform all other allied tasks and functions assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Minimum Bachelors degree in  Audit / Finance / Management control

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in management control in industry or similar

  • Technical skills: cost accounting, business plan, financial analysis and preparation of budgets

  • Behavioral skills: strategic vision, team spirit; interaction with efficiency, create complexity management, organization, decision making and planning
