We are currently seeking to hire an experienced SALES MANAGER - EXPORT for our client who is a global, multi-industry leader in the distribution of trusted consumer foods, drinks, electronics, personal care, and beauty products to define the export strategies in Africa.



  • Provides product and market intelligence to the company with the clear objective of increasing market share.

  • Provides competitive analysis including analyzing data, and market trends, identifies market opportunities, advises on pricing and promotional decisions, and provides recommendations and guidance.

  • Act as business advocate responsible for interpreting market trends, generating consumer feedback, identifying growth opportunities, idea generation, and communication back to the organization.

  • Identifies target markets and market penetration strategies.

  • Define product strategy including product diversification, features, and options; Translate product strategy into detailed requirements.

  • Act as Customer Advocate and Voice Of The Customer; Understand the aspects of a customer’s business that applies to our product offerings by capturing and articulating market problems and translating them into market requirements for product management including design, performance needs, features, and options.

  • Monitors the creation and development of new products, performing ongoing market research, tracking customer satisfaction, participating in the product decision-making process, and measuring product success.

  • Coordinates product introduction and market exploitation.

  • Discern and generate business cases for product extensions and product enhancements

  • Participates in industry associations to become familiar with the major contractors/dealers in the industry; Plans and attends trade shows and events for the specific markets.


  • BSc / MSc in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field of study

  • A minimum of 8 years of sales and marketing experience in the FMCG industry is a must and with Ghana and francophone countries (Mali/Burkina/Togo/Niger) experience.

  • The ideal candidate must speak French.
