Job Description

Role Purpose

The Marketing Manager's mission is to implement the Group's marketing strategy at the country level, as well as the steering of the country strategic watch.  The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing consumer communication strategies across media channels and showing leadership in the marketing function in the business. 

The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the company's marketing initiatives by using market research and analysis to direct marketing strategy and planning. Oversees the production of all promotional materials and marketing campaigns. Whiles reporting marketing performance to senior executives.

Reports to: Sales and Marketing Director

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution with the support of the marketing team.

  • Produce valuable and engaging content for brand communications that attracts and converts our target groups.

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors to achieve marketing agreed KPIs.

  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely for the marketing function.

  • Develop strategic marketing communication plans and manage the communication calendar.

  • Develop comprehensive Insight led briefs for Creative, Media, Events and PR Agencies. Identifying strategic sponsorships which are in line with communication strategies and advise budget allocation.

  • Increase brand visibility and relevance and supporting all customer engagement programs/campaigns.

  • Drive consumer loyalty and conversion via promotional activities.

  • Develop Campaigns to drive value & network our client’s brand differentiation in the market.

  • Obtain market share by developing marketing plans and programs with promotional support.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing

  • 5 years, experience in brand management

  • Behavior skills: team spirit: interaction with efficiency, planning and organization, change and innovation, communication and influence.

  • Technical Skills: marketing plan, preparation of budgets, branding, creative and editorial briefs
